Malaysian Open 2023: Round 3
After the first three rounds of the 2023 Malaysian Open are over, six leaders are revealed with a perfect 3/3 score. They are as follows:

- Mark Bacojo
- IM Siddharth, Jagadees
When they drew their Round 2 games, Jay Dhiaulhaq, Zacky IM Siddharth, Jagadees top and second seeds GM Raymond Song and GM Mitrabha Guha were slowed down. FM Playing Black, Poh Yu Tian forced GM Raymond Song to a draw. Playing white, Chinese IM Liu Xiangyi and India’s 72nd Grandmaster Mitrabha Guha drew.
