E-Catur Pinang  19/2026

  The Mini-Event Series 2026 PCA has thus far organized 7 out of the 10 Mini-Event Series. Such one-day events allow members and chess enthusiasts to participate as well as pit their skills against fellow chess players. An excellent way for upcoming juniors to spend their Sundays! The good news is that the top three of each mini event will be invited to play in the Grand Finale at the end of the year. I shall focus on the 7th Mini Event that was organized on 17th May 2026 at the PCA Club House premises at Prangin Mall. 63 players from 9 Federations took part. We have players from as far as Canada, China, India, the Philippines, Taiwan, Japan, Thailand and Korea. The results are posted below: 

 All the categories were keenly contested. The Overall Champion was Lim Howe Leong. Congratulations to all the winners and to all the players who participated! A random set of photos of some of the winners are attached below. Our grateful thanks to Steven Hoh, Lim Zhun Wing and Tan Eng Seong as organisers.
